Who has the strongest teeth in the world?
The strongest teeth in the world belong to John Massis of Belgium He pulled two passenger train carriages along the rails with a rope held between his teeth.
Here are some toothy facts:
- The bristles of toothbrushes were originally made from the hair of hogs and cows.
- A Chinese dentist once built a tower out of 28,000 human teeth
- Sharks have at least 40 sets of teeth in their life time.
- The armadillo has 104 teeth - more than any other land animal
- A snail's mouth is about the size of the head of a pin, but has around 25,600 teeth
Did you know that when you chew, only your lower jaw moves? Your upper jaw doesn't move when you are eating. Try chewing something and feel what happens.
